Wrapping things up

As our time in Sydney nears its end, we're frantically trying to take advantage of everything we have here. Last weekend was surfing. This weekend we went for two dives, one at Shiprock with members of Saint George Scuba Club, and one at Kurnell with the people I work with. Over the next few weekend's we'll be in Jervis Bay, Northern New Zealand, and attending a Swedish Yabbie-Fest.

Here are the pictures from Shiprock and Kurnell.

What's a yabbie? Sounds like a typically silly Australian made-up word. But then where does the Swedish come in?

Yabbie is a fresh water cray-fish. Swedish is just because our friend Bjorn is hosting it and he's Swedish.

Awesome picture. I remember taking a diving lesson in the Great Barrier Reef and after a few days, I was able to do it on my own. The time that I had the chance to explore the beauty of the ocean was a few days away from my departure from Australia. It was kinda sad to have experienced the beauty of the sea for only a few days, hopefully my next visit will be as long as those of you guys.
